Our Staff

I would humbly say, that people tell us often how special SMAC is, and I wonder….what is it about this place that makes it so special. It’s a pretty room but I would not say it is grand. The food is good, but I would not say it will win the James Beard award. The location is scenic, but not exactly handy to get to. So what is it? Well that is an easy answer … its the staff. The amazing humans that work here . Most have been here for many years…some even since the beginning … that’s twenty years and counting!! Some have got married, some have had babies, all while navigating their jobs here. I will say, no slight on the few men that work here, but the “Smacetts are super women! We have watched their children grow and Heck! …some of those kids work here now! They are a family..our family. Jeff and I dont have kids of our own, so I guess this is the closest we will come … and we don’t have to put them through college … just a hectic concert night! So take some time to see their smiling faces below and know they will be here next time you come up the hill. Like I say every night before the show: ”Our crew did a great job tonight …give them a round of applause!”
